With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Matt has built a distinguished career as a senior leadership executive with a proven ability to drive sustainable brand and portfolio growth. His expertise spans a variety of therapeutic areas, where he has successfully developed and implemented integrated commercial strategies across all phases of the product lifecycle, from large-scale treatments to specialty and rare diseases.
Matt’s core competencies include strategic and commercialization planning, product launches, brand development and marketing, commercial operations, contracting and channel strategies, and organizational transformation initiatives.
Prior to founding InflectionPoint, Matt served as Head of Commercial at Vectura, Inc., leading the Pain Management business. Before that, he oversaw Commercial Operations at Sunovion following a 20-year tenure at Takeda. At Takeda, Matt held numerous executive roles, including Head of Strategy and Planning, where he led the development of mid-to-long-term U.S. strategies, new product planning, corporate governance, program management, and the integration of Shire’s portfolio—a diversified $13 billion business in specialty and rare diseases.
His earlier roles at Takeda included Vice President of CNS Marketing and leadership positions in the Gout and Renal Franchises, U.S. Business Development, and other strategic functions.
